The Campbell Foundation would like to introduce Sara Almaraz as the new Grants Management Associate, Pacific. She joined the Foundation in March of 2023.

Sara’s background includes nearly 20 years of experience in various nonprofit sectors, with roles managing grantmaking and scholarship programs, as well as in grant writing, donor stewardship, and strategic communication. A proponent of grit, she strives for continuous improvement in her work and personal life and enjoys supporting grantees to solve problems and further their work. Sara is based in California’s ag-centric San Joaquin Valley, where water conservation and quality groundwater are critically important.

Sara will work closely with the Chief of Staff on evaluating proposals, conducting due diligence, and reviewing budgets and financial information. She will also support the evolving program of grants to organizations in the San Joaquin Valley. Other duties will include supporting the Capacity Building Program and Unsolicited Grants Cycle.
