Our San Joaquin Valley Grantees
The following grants have been awarded as part of The Campbell Foundation’s community engagement efforts in the San Joaquin Valley:

- Black Wellness and Prosperity Center
- $5,000: Professional Development

- $5,000: Organizational DEIJ Capacity
- $25,000: Support of the Black Doula Network Program, which increases health equity for Black birthing persons and infants by addressing the doula shortage in Central California, supporting doulas, and, providing culturally-responsive support to pregnant persons through the postpartum period.
- California Environmental Voters Education Fund
- $5,000: Organizational DEIJ Capacity
- $150,000: Support of the Ambassadors Program, which identifies, cultivates, and supports youth from marginalized communities in the Central Valley and Inland Empire. Ambassadors gain organizing and leadership skills, activate their peers on environmental and climate action, and increase community engagement through organizing within their region.
- $10,000: Technology Capacity Building

- $50,000: Support of the Emerging Leaders Fellowship Program, a pilot for young, primarily BIPOC climate advocates focused on democracy and environmental action. Young adults engaged will participate in a cohort-based, year-long program to develop and foster environmental leadership and organizing skills that will train and empower the next generation of water equity and climate leaders. The Fellowship will advance transformative organizing, build power, and create long-term transformation in marginalized, rural communities.
